112 India App

The Emergency Response Support System (ERSS) is a project of the Indian government that offers the 112 SOS mobile application. At present, 36 states and union territories have it available for purchase: Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Andhra Pradesh, Chandigarh, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu, Delhi, Goa, Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Mizoram, Nagaland, and Puducherry. Users of the app may call on volunteers and their local emergency service delivery departments to request aid in an emergency. The application alerts the State Emergency Control Room, the user’s emergency contacts, and the app itself with the user’s details, GPS location, and the generated call to ‘112’. The notification is sent to local online volunteers in the vicinity via the system, if accessible. An all-in-one panic app for citizen emergencies, an effective response system operating around the clock, prompt field resource dispatch, and interaction with current emergency response systems are the main goals of the app.

bSafe app

A personal safety app called bSafe was created by Charlen and her father to stop crimes like rape, sexual assault, and violence. The application has received over 10,000 media mentions and has been downloaded in 125 countries. It has safety features like voice activation, live streaming, audio/video recording, fake calls, and Follow Me.

BSAFE works by triggering the SOS alarm via touch or voice, even if the phone is hidden inside a jacket, pocket, or purse. Live streaming enables guardians to track the user’s location and receive real-time updates. When the SOS alarm is activated, audio and video are automatically recorded and sent to the guardian’s cell phone.

Fake calls enable users to have their phone call them in order to help them escape undesirable circumstances. Users can also create a social and personal security network with friends and family, inviting as many as they desire. Follow Me allows users to track their location via live GPS tracking and see them in real-time on their mobile devices. Once the user has safely returned home, their guardians will receive a message.
