Bharti Airtel and Google have partnered to address the increasing demand for efficient storage solutions

Bharti Airtel and Google have collaborated to provide Google One cloud storage subscription services to their postpaid and Wi-Fi users. This service will give six months of free 100 GB storage, which clients may share with up to five people. This collaboration intends to solve the problem of restricted device storage.

Bharti Airtel has teamed with Google to address the rising concern over smartphone storage difficulties. The collaboration will bring trustworthy, secure, and user-friendly storage solutions to millions of postpaid Wi-Fi users in India, giving them access to an additional 100GB of storage.

The collaboration intends to solve the problem of users’ increasing data storage limitations by guaranteeing that users have enough room to keep their treasured images, videos, documents, and other digital content without having to regularly remove files or turn to pricey physical storage upgrades. Customers can move between devices more easily because WhatsApp chats for Android are also stored in Google Account storage. Because the cloud storage feature works with both the iOS and Android operating systems, Airtel’s vast range of customers may use it.

The partnership is exciting, according to Karen Teo, Vice President, Platforms & Devices Partnerships, APAC, Google, who said it will let customers safely backup essential data, videos, and images on their phones with extra storage across Google Drive, Gmail, and other services.

For the first six months following activation, Airtel is providing 100 GB of free cloud storage, enabling users to back up their data and take advantage of the ease of cloud storage. Customers must sign in to the Airtel Thanks App in order to take advantage of this offer. A monthly cost of ₹125 would be added to the customer’s bill after six months. Customers have the option to stop being a Google One member if they decide not to continue.

In addition to providing 100 GB of cloud storage across Google Photos, Drive, and Gmail, Google One Storage now enables family sharing with up to five more users at no additional cost and ensures a safe backup of images, files, and WhatsApp chats in the event of damage or phone changes.
