Boat Stone 650 wireless speaker launched in India: Price and specifications

Boat Lifestyle is known for offering audio products and accessories for smartphones at an affordable price. Boat Lifestyle’s range of products includes wireless speakers, headphones, earphones, cables, and even chargers. However, their talking point has always been affordability and that is what has helped the brand gain its popularity.

The brand has today announced the launch of its Stone 650 wireless speaker. Much like other products from Boat’s range, the product has been priced affordably at Rs 1,899. Interested buyers can buy the speaker from Amazon India’s website. Although there is no official word on it, we are assuming that the Boat Stone 650 wireless speaker is the successor of the company’s Stone 600 speaker.

One among the key features of the Boat Stone 650 wireless speaker is its IPX5 rating, that makes it water and dust resistant. The company has also added that the speaker has a ‘diamond studded mesh’ design on its body. Besides this, the Boat Stone 650 wireless speaker comes with a dual-driver setup that is comprised of two 5W speaker drivers. The newly launched speaker also comes with a passive bass radiator and is claimed to deliver a battery life of 7 hours on a single charge. The battery capacity of the speaker is 1,800mAh.

Coming to the connectivity options of the Boat Stone 650 wireless speaker, it comes with Bluetooth 4.2 and users can also connect to it using an auxiliary cable or TF storage. In order to charge the device, you can use its Micro-USB port. It also comes with support for A2DP, AVRCP, and HFP. The Boat Stone 650 wireless speaker has a microphone, so it can be used to make hands-free voice calls. There are other buttons on the speaker that help users to control playback. So, you would not have to reach out to your paired smartphone each time you want to play/pause the device or adjust its volume.
