Canon has announced a new high volume colour printer in India to meet the demands of small and mid-size workplaces as well as small businesses. The company has added a Canon MAXIFY GX5070 Inkjet printer to its MAXIFY Ink Efficient GX Series portfolio. The printer combines cheap colour printing costs with speed, paper handling, and networking features to increase efficiency and productivity in offices and companies.
The MAXIFY GX5070 Inkjet Printer is designed for modern enterprises and home offices, and it is versatile enough to be positioned everywhere in the workplace because it has not only wired network ports but also wireless connectivity. With WPA- Enterprise, advanced security measures ensure the safety of critical information as well as a secure connection to the printer and wireless network. Users may use the free Canon PRINT Inkjet/ SELPHY smartphone app to set up and operate the printers, as well as print from the cloud.
A full set of ink yields up to 14,000 colour prints or 6,000 greyscale prints from a black ink bottle. For organisations who need to print more without losing print quality, the economy mode saves even more money with 21,000 and 9,000 colour and greyscale prints, respectively. The MAXIFY GX5070 printer is compatible with a variety of media. The flexibility to print on a range of textures and print surfaces eliminates the need for businesses to purchase multiple printers when switching between envelopes, labels, glossy paper, and banner paper up to 1.2 m in length.
In addition to this, the printer uses pigment inks which is water-resistant on plain paper, providing a laser print-like quality. The Canon MAXIFY GX5070 Inkjet Printer supports automatic 2-sided printing and has quick print rates for big volume printing, as well as a paper feeding capacity of up to 350 sheets, which means less time spent replenishing paper. The printer comes with a commercially available user-replaceable maintenance cartridge. This reduces the likelihood that the printer will need to be serviced, resulting in reduced printing downtime.
The Canon MAXIFY GX5070 printer will be available with a price tag of Rs 37,995.
