CMF by Nothing has officially announced the introduction of their new smartphone, CMF Phone 1, in India as well as globally. It has a 120Hz AMOLED display and a dual camera configuration using a 50-megapixel sensor. The gadget is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 5G SoC and comes preloaded with Nothing OS 2.6, which is based on Android 14. The most notable feature of the recently released phone is its adaptable design. It has removable backs and other accessories like a lanyard, kickstand, and more.

CMF Phone 1 design, specs and features
The CMF Phone 1 is available in four colours: blue, light green, orange, and black, and comes with a removable back plate with visible screws. A small screwdriver included with the device can undo these screws and serve as a SIM ejector tool. Users can customise the back panel with attachments like a lanyard or kickstand.
The phone is IP52-rated for dust and splash resistance.

The newly launched phone 1 by CMF is the first smartphone in India to come with an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 7300 5G processor. It is available with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. The RAM Booster feature allows for virtual memory expansion on the CMF Phone 1, bringing its available memory up to 16GB. Whereas the internal storage can be expanded up to 2TB using a microSD card.
Phone 1 by CMF flaunts a 6.7-inch full-HD+ AMOLED LTPS display with 1,080×2,400 pixels of resolution. The screen supports up to 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. The panel also comes with 2000 nits peak brightness and 395ppi pixel density. The screen also includes an optical in-display fingerprint sensor for phone unlock.
For taking photos and videos, there is a dual 50-megapixel main and portrait sensor with EIS support. For selfies, it includes a 16-megapixel front-facing camera.
The Phone 1 has a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast and 5W reverse wired charging, allowing it up to two days of battery life on a single charge and a 50% charge in 20 minutes.

A limited amount of Phone 1 will be available in an exclusive pop-up drop on Tuesday, July 9th, 2024, at 7:00 PM at Lulu Mall in Bengaluru. The first 100 consumers to purchase the CMF Phone 1 will receive CMF Buds for free. On the first day of the sale, buyers will be able to take advantage of special bank deals through the Day 1 Sale Day offer. Customers may get the Phone 1 6GB + 128GB for Rs 14,999 and the 8GB + 128GB for Rs 16,999. It will go on sale on Flipkart on July 12 at noon.
