CMF Phone 2 Pro to have Nothing Phone 3a series like AI-Powered Essential Space feature and Essential Key

This feature, similar to the Nothing Phone 3a series, will be activated with a dedicated button.

CMF Phone 2 Pro is scheduled to launch globally and in India on April 28. We assumed that there was nothing much left to reveal, but then the company made a new revelation about its upcoming smartphone. The company has recently disclosed that the AI-Powered Essential Space feature and Essential Key would also be included in its upcoming smartphone.

The Nothing subsidiary has been previewing the device’s AI capabilities, including the addition of the Essential Space feature, which debuted with the Nothing Phone 3a series. The phone is said to include a special “Essential key” positioned on the right side, near the power button.

The teaser video on social media hints that Essential Space will work similarly to the Nothing Phone 3a series on the CMF Phone 2 Pro. The Essential Key supports the Camera Capture function on the Nothing Phone 3a series, but it is unclear whether it will be accessible on the future CMF Phone 2 Pro. This might enable users to easily take images and upload them to Essential Space.

The company previously posted a teaser showcasing the CMF phone with a triple back camera setup—two circular sensors positioned vertically on the rear panel, a third sensor in a smaller slot, and an LED flash unit beneath
.
Besides this the CMF Phone 2 Pro will also come with a triple back camera system that includes a 50-megapixel sensor, a 50-megapixel telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom, and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera with a 119.5-degree angle of view. This is a major improvement over the CMF Phone 1, which had a dual back camera arrangement with a 50-megapixel Sony main sensor and a portrait unit.
