Our Take

Both smartphones include an aluminium frame, rounded sides, a glass back, and a flat display. Additionally, the camera lenses on both are orientated vertically. Nevertheless, the iPhone 16 has two extra buttons: the Action Button and Camera Control. The iPhone has two cameras, whereas Samsung’s Galaxy S25 has three.

The iPhone 16 boasts a smaller 6.1-inch screen with a 60Hz refresh rate and Ceramic Shield Glass, while the Galaxy S25 leads the field with a 6.2-inch LTPO AMOLED screen with a high refresh rate of 120Hz and Gorilla Glass Victus 2.

The Galaxy S25 continues to outperform the iPhone thanks to its punch-hole front display, which seems to be more visually appealing than the iPhone 16’s huge dynamic island.

The camera configurations on the two phones are different. Both phones are capable of taking great pictures, but the iPhone 16 might be better at recording videos. For those who love telephoto lenses, the Galaxy S25 is the undisputed winner.

Both the iPhone and the Galaxy S25 have flagship chipsets that enable demanding games and applications to function smoothly. The iPhone 16 employs Apple’s A18 chip, whereas the Galaxy S25 uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy. Even though the Snapdragon 8 Elite is speedier, the difference is obvious because of Apple’s software optimisation. The Apple iPhone 16 runs iOS 18 and Apple Intelligence, their AI suite, whereas the Galaxy S25 runs One UI 7 and Android 15 with Galaxy AI.
