Google Docs users may now add text watermarks to every page of their document. The search giant Google has introduced the app with the new watermark tool so that the users will be able to put watermarks like DRAFT and CONFIDENTIAL to their document. This feature will be available to all Google Workspace users and G Suite Basic and Business customers. It will make the document identified before being shared. A Watermark option has been included in the Insert menu where they can change the font, size and personalise it as per their requirement.

As per the latest Blog post Text Watermarks can be added to the Google Docs document. Whether dealing with Microsoft Word documents, text watermarks are also kept when importing or exporting your files.

As per the company Text watermarks will appear on every page of your document, making them helpful for signalling file status, such as “Confidential” or “Draft,” before distributing more widely, regardless of the programme you use. You may add an image watermark or pictures above or behind the text in addition to text watermarks.

This tool will be accessible to all Google Workspace customers, as well as G Suite Basic and Business customers. A gradual rollout has begun and is likely to be available to everyone in a few weeks. To recall Google Docs received an image watermark feature in September last year letting users put an image watermark on every page of a Google Docs document.
