The tech giant is rolling out the latest update for Google Photos. The update includes AI-powered features that will intelligently organise screenshots and documents into helpful albums so users can instantly find them when needed and also group similar-looking pictures.
In order to get one perfect picture everyone usually captures a lot of images or sometimes does bulk photography. But sometimes this makes your gallery look untidy so to declutter and organise it in a better way Google Photos will now do it for you automatically. It will quickly discover and group similar photos that were taken close together with the help of AI into Photo Stacks and select the top pick that best captures that moment. According to Google users have the option to choose their own photo as a top pick, modify the stacks, or turn off Photo Stacks at any time.

Sometimes it is difficult to look for a screenshot or a document in your picture gallery. Now Google Photos will make use of AI to better identify and automatically categorise screenshots and documents in your gallery into albums like ID, receipts and event information. This eliminates the need to scroll through all your photos and one can easily locate them when needed.
In addition to this, you can now use screenshots of tickets or photos you took of a flyer for an upcoming event in order to set reminders in your calendar. If you take a screenshot of a concert ticket on Google Photos, you can easily add it to your calendar all you have to do is just click ‘Set Reminder’.
This will be a helpful reminder for you to review the screenshot when needed. Moreover, Google Photos will also give you the option to have your screenshots and documents automatically archived after 30 days. These can be accessed within their respective albums when required and will also not appear in your main gallery.
According to Google, Photo Stacks and the improvements for screenshots and documents are starting to roll out to Google Photos on Android and iOS.
