Google Photos Memories features coming to Samsung AI TVs: Here is when

This integration intends to make it easier for users to explore their journeys, create new stories, and reflect on cherished memories.

Starting in March 2026, Samsung will add Google Photos’ Memories feature to its smart TVs that use AI. For the first six months, this feature will only be available on Samsung TVs. Customers will be able to watch curated memories on their TVs thanks to this feature. Samsung also plans to release the Create with AI feature and Personalised Results from Google Photos later in 2026.

Google Photos intends to improve the experience of reliving and sharing memories with a planned integration with Samsung TVs, which will allow users to see photographs in a bigger size. This integration will allow users to browse curated memories organised by people, places, and key moments, boosting their engagement with Samsung’s Vision AI Companion (VAC) and providing improved photo experiences. Samsung plans to make Google Photos an intrinsic part of the TV experience, fostering natural photo presentations through Daily+ and Daily Board. The user setup is simple; you need to sign in with a Google Account for fast access to photo memories on the TV screen.

Three forthcoming innovations are designed to improve the user experience on Samsung TVs. “Memories, set to begin in early 2026, would provide curated stories based on consumers’ significant memories. “Create with AI”, set to launch later in 2026, will have themed templates driven by Google DeepMind’s image model, allowing users to artistically change photographs. In addition, “Personalised Results,” which will be available later in 2026, will allow users to explore similar photographs in a slideshow style organised by themes such as the ocean, hiking, or locations like Paris.

Samsung and Google Photos are teaming up to give Samsung TV customers a cinematic gallery experience. This lets people look through their own photo libraries and relive memories in detail. This integration is meant to make it easier for users to look back on their travels, make new stories, and remember happy times.
