During its “Made by Google” event today, the tech giant unveiled four new, highly anticipated Pixel 9 Series worldwide. The Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL, and Pixel 9 Pro Fold are the four versions in the new lineup. The fourth generation Tensor G4 chipset developed by Google powers all four of the Pixel 9 smartphone variants. Here are all the specifications for the recently released Pixel series.

Google Pixel 9

The Pixel 9 features a 6.3-inch Actua OLED display with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,424 pixels. The screen’s refresh rate ranges from 60 to 120Hz. In addition, the panel offers a maximum brightness of 2,700 nits and a pixel density of 422ppi. The device will include 12GB RAM and 256GB of storage, powered by a Tensor G4 CPU. It also includes a Titan M2 security coprocessor.

There is a 10.5MP dual PD front camera, while the back has a dual back camera configuration consisting of a 50MP Octa PD wide-angle primary camera with an image sensor size of 1/1.31-inch and an 8x Super Res Zoom and a 48MP Quad PD ultrawide lens with a 1/2.55-inch sensor. Among the many AI capabilities available on the camera unit are Magic Eraser, Best Take, Photo Unblur, and Night Sight. It can record 4K video at 24, 30, or 60 frames per second.

The Pixel 9 is a smartphone featuring face unlock, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and an IP68 water and dust-resistant rating. It has several sensors, including a magnetometer, proximity sensor, barometer, gyroscope, accelerometer, and ambient light sensor. The phone has a USB Type-C port, GPS, NFC, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, and NFC connectivity options. It boasts a 4,700mAh battery that supports both Qi-certified wireless charging and 45W wired fast charging.

Google Pixel 9 Pro

The Pixel 9 Pro incorporates a 6.34-inch Super Actua OLED display with a 1,280 x 2,856 resolution, up to 120Hz variable refresh rate, 494ppi, and 3,000 nits peak brightness, as well as Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. The Tensor G4 chipset will power the device, together with the Titan M2 security chip.

A 4,700mAh battery powers the device, and this set includes 45W wired fast charging and Qi wireless charging capability. It has 16GB RAM and 256GB UFS 4.0 storage. The Google Pixel 9 Pro has a triple camera configuration on the rear, with a 50MP Octa PD wide primary sensor, a 48MP Quad PD ultrawide lens, and a 48MP telephoto shooter (up to 30x Super Res Zoom and 5x optical zoom). A 42-megapixel Dual PD shooter with autofocus is included for selfies.

The phone sports a USB Type-C port, GPS, NFC, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, temperature sensor, Ultra-Wideband chip, and NFC connection. The IP68 rating is available as well on the phone.

The Google Pixel 9 Pro XL consists of a 6.8-inch Super6Actua (LTPO) OLED display with a 1,344 x 2,992 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 48ppi, up to 3,000 nits peak brightness, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. The device is operated by a Tensor G4 SoC with the Titan M2 security chip.

It has a 5,060mAh battery and supports 45W charging. It comes with 16GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage. For photography, the gadget has a camera arrangement comparable to the Pro model. The networking options and sensors on board are similarly similar.

In India, the Pixel 9 with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage costs Rs 79,999 and comes in Peony, Porcelain, Obsidian, and Wintergreen colours. The Pixel 9 Pro with 16GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced at Rs 1,09,999, while the Pixel 9 Pro XL at Rs 1,24,999. Both devices will be available in Hazel, Porcelain, Rose Quartz, and Obsidian colours. The lineup will be available for the first time in India on August 22 and will be sold through Flipkart, Croma, and Reliance Digital.
