Google Pixel Buds 2 were released in global regions, including India, on Tuesday during the company’s most recent Made by Google hardware launch event. For the first time, Pixel Buds Pro 2 includes a custom-designed Tensor A1 chip, which powers audio performance, helpful Google AI, and enhanced noise cancellation. The device is said to have a sleek new design that prioritises comfort and a secure fit.

Pixel Buds Pro 2 Price in India and Availability

The Pixel Buds Pro 2 costs Rs 22,900. The TWS headset is available in Aloe, Charcoal, Hot Pink, and Porcelain colours. The Google TWS will be available in India on August 22 through retail locations such as Flipkart, Reliance Digital, and Croma.

The Pixel Buds Pro 2 have 11mm dynamic speakers and a Tensor A1 chip to optimise music performance. It also has improved algorithms for Clear Calling, which reduces background noise during phone calls, and smooth audio switching between Pixel devices, including the Pixel Watch.

As per the company the Pixel Buds Pro 2 is a lighter and smaller version of the Pixel Buds Pro, created following 45 million ear scans and real-world wear tests. It has a twist-to-adjust stabiliser for personalised comfort and four ear tip sizes to ensure a snug fit.
The Pixel Buds Pro 2 have ultra-low-latency audio processing, which allows them to adapt to their surroundings up to 3 million times per second, resulting in twice as strong Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) than previous generation earbuds. This function also enables a larger range of noises, including traffic and coffee shop discussions.

Furthermore, the Tensor A1’s multipath processing improves music quality by creating a separate “highway lane” independent of continuous processing, resulting in accurate, detailed, and immersive sound. The earbuds’ smaller and lighter form also extends battery life, with Active Noise Cancellation providing up to 8 hours of battery life on the Buds and 30 hours with the case. The buds may be recharged by placing them in their case for 15 minutes, providing up to three hours of additional battery life.

The Pixel Buds Pro 2 also includes a hands-free virtual AI assistant dubbed Gemini. Gemini can deliver directions, reminders, and new song recommendations even if your phone is in your pocket. The gadget also has Gemini Live, a mobile conversational experience with cutting-edge speech recognition. Gemini Live enables users to engage in extended conversations with the virtual assistant, serving as a pocket companion for new ideas or interview preparation. Users can also use Gemini Live on the fly by simply unlocking their phone and saying, “Hey, Google, let’s talk live.”

The Pixel Buds Pro 2 includes Find My Device Network, a ringing speaker for locating them, Clear Calling for clear communication in busy surroundings, and Conversation Detection for seamless interaction even while wearing earbuds. It also includes spatial audio and head tracking for realistic sound quality, allowing users to smoothly switch between devices. Furthermore, the device enables seamless switching between devices, guaranteeing that the sound is as natural as if it were heard live. The device also supports seamless switching between devices.
