Google rolls out new shopping methods across Gemini, AI Mode in Search, and Circle to Search

Users can access richer information, compare and buying options.

Google has integrated its Gemini models with the Shopping Graph, which includes well over 50 billion products, to provide AI-powered shopping to India. AI Mode in Search and Circle to Search are two important features that make it easy to go from getting ideas to making a purchase. People may use the Gemini app to look for ideas, the Search app to ask questions in chats, and the Images app to find products. All of them work together to provide users more information, comparisons, and purchasing options.

The company, via blog post, said, “We’re making it easier than ever to find exactly what you need, with tools that bring together our Gemini models and Google’s Shopping Graph, our dataset of more than 50 billion of the world’s products, 2 billion of which are updated every hour. Last year, we launched our Virtual Try-On tool in India, and we’ve been excited to see how it’s made shopping easier for users by helping them virtually try apparel listings on themselves. With updates across Gemini, AI Mode, and Circle to Search, we’re bringing our most advanced AI tools to help users in India shop with more confidence and less effort.”

The Gemini app has added new shopping features to improve the user experience. These features include product listings and comparison tables that can be shopped for immediately within chats. The Shopping Graph lets users see pricing from many websites and look at different ways to purchase things in real time. This purchasing experience is now accessible in both Hindi and English.

The new improvement to AI Mode shopping in Search in India makes the shopping experience much better by making it more conversational and frictionless. This improvement does away with the need for long filtering and keyword selection, making it easier for users to find what they’re looking for. AI Mode is great at organising responses because it uses rich visuals and plenty of information, such as prices, user ratings, and available inventory for products.

This update adds new features, including shoppable images that give you visual and comparison tables that let you look at many products at once. These changes are strategically designed to help people make fast and confident decisions about what to buy. Right now, the AI Mode shopping option is only accessible in English, but plans are in the works to make it available in Hindi as well.

The Circle to Search feature has been greatly enhanced for the Pixel 10 and Samsung Galaxy S26 smartphones. Now, users may look at more than one thing in a picture at the same time. This tool is great for getting a lot of information about different things that are shown on an Android device, especially in the fashion sector. By simply tapping, scribbling, or circling certain parts of a picture, users may quickly find certain parts of outfits shown on social media.

Once an area has been marked, Circle to Search accurately identifies every part of the outfit, enabling users to find similar products that might inspire their purchase or style options. This feature contributes significantly to better educated and personalised fashion choices by improving the user’s ability to interact with photos and get information quickly.
