GoPro has unveiled two new cameras: the HERO, which is the smallest 4K camera, and the HERO13 Black in India. The HERO13 Black has four interchangeable HB-Series lens options with auto-detection, GPS, extended power capabilities, and magnetic latch mounting. The HERO is the smallest 4K action camera with an LCD screen that is both tough and waterproof. Both cameras include special features that expand on the patented technology of GoPro.
Customers purchasing the new action camera have three options:
- GoPro HERO13 Black standalone camera: Rs 44,990
- Black Creator Edition: Rs 64,990
- HERO13 Black Accessory Bundle: Rs 49,990
The Black Creator Edition includes Media Mod and Volta Power Grip. Whereas the Accessory Bundle comes with The Handler (Floating Hand Grip), an additional Enduro battery, an additional Curved Adhesive Mount, a 64GB SD card, and a carrying case. All of the three models are available for pre-order today through our online retail partners, including Amazon, Flipkart, Croma, and Reliance Digital. Pre-order shipping and retail on-shelf availability will begin on September 10, 2024, 6:30 PM IST.
The GoPro Hero comes with a price tag of Rs 23,990. It is available for pre-order starting September 16, 2024. Pre-order shipping and retail on-shelf availability will begin on September 22.
Ultra Wide Lens Mod, Macro Lens Mod and the ND Filter 4-Pack are sold separately from HERO13 Black and will be available to order starting September 10. Anamorphic Lens Mod will be available in 2025.

GoPro HERO13 Black
The GoPro camera can capture 5.3K resolution at 60fps, 4K resolution at 120fps, and 2.7K video at 240fps. The HERO13 Black includes 13x Burst Slo-Mo (up to 720p (400fps), 900p (360fps), and 5.3K (120fps) resolution, 13x burst stabilisation, a 10% greater storage, and a magnetic latch mounting system. The device features a 1.4-inch front-facing LCD screen and a 2.27-inch back touch screen. It allows you to geotag videos using GPS and includes HyperSmooth 6.0 and HDR support. It can also take 27-megapixel photographs with HDR and RAW formats. It also includes faster WiFi 6 technology, resulting in up to 40% faster multimedia transfer speeds. The camera also supports professional-level Hybrid Log Gamma (HLG) HDR footage with 10bit and Rec. 2100 colour space, which provides a wider colour range than HDR alone. The camera also allows for greater versatility in audio tuning, such as balanced true-to-life sound or a speech option that improves vocal clarity while keeping ambient background sounds. GPS + Performance Stickers track speed, path, terrain, altitude, and g-force and assist with geotagging in third-party media management apps. The HERO13 Black also includes more custom preset settings and a better QuikCapture.
The Hero 13 Black GoPro camera has a 1,900mAh Enduro Li-ion rechargeable battery, which provides a longer runtime than its predecessor. The Hero 13 Black supports 1.5 hours of 5.3K video recording and 2.5 hours of 1080p video recording.

GoPro Hero
The HERO is a small, lightweight, and easy-to-use 4K camera with a screen. It weighs only 86 grams and is waterproof up to 16 feet (5 metres), thanks to GoPro’s famed durability. The camera has an easy touch screen and one-button interface, allowing users to frame images and change modes. It records amazing images in Ultra HD 4K and HD 1080p video, 12MP photographs, and 2.7K at 60 frames per second. The camera also supports 8MP frame grabs from 4K videos using the Quik app. The 16:9 aspect ratio ensures that the video is horizontal and optimised for YouTube. The GoPro Quik app employs HyperSmooth video stabilisation to eliminate bumps in footage. The camera can record continuously for up to 100 minutes on single charge.
