Here is everything about the upcoming ‘Awe Dropping’ Apple Event

iPhone 17 Series will undergo a major design upgrade and welcome a new member

Apple is all set to introduce the next iPhone at its “Awe Dropping” event on September 9, when the company will reveal the iPhone 17 as well as other new devices and features, leading to curiosity among Apple fans. The iPhone 17 range may consist of the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max, both with redesigned backs, as well as an all-new variant called the iPhone 17 Air, which features an ultrathin body. It may also include Apple’s first custom-designed Wi-Fi and Bluetooth chip. It is also likely to have an improved 24-megapixel front-facing camera. Apple reportedly intends to unveil additional products, including the Apple Watch Series 11, Apple Watch Ultra 3, a new Apple Watch SE, and AirPods Pro 3.

The iPhone will get its first big design update in a very long time when Apple unveils the iPhone 17 Air, which will have an ultrathin chassis and new backs for the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max.

Since the 2020 release of the iPhone 12 Pro, the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max are expected to receive their first design upgrade. There will be a wireless charging cutout and a new camera design on the back. Improved video recording, longer battery life, a 48 megapixel sensor in place of the previous 12 megapixel telephoto lens, and a CPU upgrade to the A19 Pro are all anticipated. A selfie camera update, front-and-back video recording at the same time, and a variable aperture system are a couple of camera improvements.

The 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max are going back to an aluminium frame after switching to titanium in 2023. Aluminium is lighter and better at dispersing heat, making it a good choice for individuals who have used the 15 Pro or 16 Pro. The regular iPhone 17 will have a slightly bigger screen, comparable to the 6.3-inch dimensions of the iPhone 16 Pro and 17 Pro. Other modifications include a new CPU and a ProMotion display, which is a first for a regular iPhone. The iPhone 17 and Pro versions will continue to use Qualcomm modems.

This year, the company anticipates heading in the path of slimmer phones, resulting in the iPhone 17 Air. The Air is approximately 5.5 millimetres thinner than the iPhone 16 Pro, or around one-third of its thickness. However, it has downsides, like lower battery life and a single rear camera housed in a pill-shaped bump.

Speculations and rumours suggest that the iPhone 17 Air will include an A19 chipset, a standard USB-C connection, ProMotion compatibility, and a 6.6-inch screen. Its small chassis necessitates eSIMs, and it will employ an in-house Wi-Fi chip and Apple’s C1 modem, much like the iPhone 16e. The iPhone Air is positioned between the entry-level iPhone and the Pro model, giving it a risky price position.

Other Apple Wearables are likely to debut at the Apple Event

The Apple Watch Ultra 3 is scheduled to be introduced after a year-long break. Apple plans to deliver the Apple Watch Ultra 3 this year, with a bigger screen, a new S11 processor, 5G Redcap connection via a new modem, and the option to use Apple’s satellite capability for text messaging and emergency communication.

Apple’s Series 11 is believed to be a slight update, with a new screen that improves brightness, updates the colour scheme, and changes the band options, despite the Jet Black Series 10’s flaking issues.

Apple Watch SE is likely to be updated with better screens and a speedier CPU, allowing it to compete with Fitbit for lower-cost devices for kids of all ages.

Apple expects to release the AirPods Pro 3 this month, marking the product’s first update in three years. The update features a heart rate monitor, smaller charging cases, and a new pairing process. It will also offer live translation of conversations.
