HMD announcements at MWC 2025: Introduces HMD 130 and 150 Music phones and more

The company has collaborated with FC Barcelona to release two new devices.

At the ongoing MWC 2025, HMD will unveil new feature phones, audio gadgets, and more. Drew Barrymore will be at MWC, and a collaboration is being unveiled. HMD is launching the HMD 130 and 150 Music phones in an effort to grab market share. The HMD Fusion X1 will be part of HMD’s Family portfolio, which aims to promote digital habits. HMD is also working with Xplora to tackle a global mental health and safety crisis using children’s technology.

At MWC 2025, HMD rebranded and welcomed Drew Barrymore, an entrepreneur, actress, and mother of two. Barrymore emphasised the need to rethink how we interact with technology, claiming that it has taken advantage of the exhausted parent. She also hinted at an impending collaboration geared at challenging the status quo, revealing the new initiative’s code name, ‘Project Wildflower’. Barrymore’s mission is to bring patience from the past into the future in order to create a more human-centered environment.

The Indian market has embraced our vision of better technology that respects digital wellbeing and offers meaningful experiences. The upcoming launch of our HMD 130 and 150 Music phones in India perfectly exemplifies this philosophy—combining nostalgic design with practical features like extended battery life and enhanced audio capabilities that Indian consumers value. As we unveil our latest offerings at MWC 2025, we remain dedicated to creating products that empower users while addressing their evolving needs for balance in the digital age. We’re confident that our human-first approach will resonate strongly with Indian consumers who are increasingly seeking technology that enhances rather than dominates their lives.”

The HMD Barça 3210 has a 2MP camera with flash, a bright torch, 4G functionality for crisp phone calls, and a long-lasting 1450 mAh battery, making it a multipurpose tool for fans celebrating the team’s success.

The device is available in the iconic Club colours of Blau and Grana, with a silver Barça crest on the rear that reflects FC Barcelona’s Tiki-Taka style.

The device also includes player Easter Eggs with voice welcomes from first team stars such as Lewy, Gavi, Eric, Fermín, and Iñigo.

The HMD Barça Fusion is a customisable 5G smartphone featuring a 108 MP dual camera and a 50 MP camera that supports Selfie Gestures and Selfie Slo-mo. It includes iFixit support for low-cost home repairs, as well as a detox mode for soft or hard notification removal.

The Flashy outfit adds a ring light for selfies, the Gaming outfit transforms the phone into a console, and the Rugged outfit offers additional protection.
