HMD Global launched Nokia 5310 2G phone with wireless MP3 player and FM radio

HMD Global had launched a new feature phone through an online launch event. The company launched the Nokia 5310 2G phone which is also the successor of Nokia 5310 Xpress Music. The device comes with an MP3 player and FM radio. It features a classic design along with long battery life. Read on to know more about the new feature phone.

Commenting on the launch the company said, “Nokia 5310 Reimagining the original Nokia 5310 Xpress Music, the Nokia 5310 brings with it an MP3 player and FM 3 radio, combined with powerful, dual front-facing speakers letting you carry your favourite tunes with you on the go. The Nokia 5310 remixes classic design with a slick new feel and battery that’s built to last, keeping you connected day after day.”

Nokia 5310 2G phone pricing

The Nokia 5310 will be available in White/Red and Black/Red, starting in March 2020 at a global average retail price of 39 Euros that translates to Rs 3,147 as per Indian currency. The device will be available for purchase this month only however there is no word from the company when it is going to put the mobile phone on sale.

Nokia 5310 2G phone specifications

Nokia 5310  is powered by MediaTek MT6260A processor paired with 8MB of RAM and 16MB of storage which can be expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card. It features a 2.4-inch QVGA display along with a curved display glass,  key mat and rounded design.

It houses a 1200mAh battery that delivers 30 days of standby mode. It comes with wireless FM radio with dedicated music buttons and powerful dual front-facing speakers. You will also get both dual and single sim option to support mini SIM

In terms of camera, Nokia 5310 sports a VGA rear camera along with a flash. The Nokia feature phone measures 123.7 x 52.4 x 13.1 mm and weighs 88.2 grams.
