HP new DeskJet printers for everyday home printing needs launched in India

The new printers come with a complimentary 1-year HP Print Learn Centre subscription.

HP has introduced new DeskJet printers designed specifically for home users in India, including students, parents, and professionals. These printers have simple plug-and-play features for printing, scanning, and copying, as well as low-cost inks and dependable dual-band WiFi. Each model contains at least 70% post-consumer recycled plastic and is available in six types with a white base and colourful accent colours, like Very Peri and Warm Aroma.

HP offers various deskjet printers at a variety of prices and colours. The HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 2986 and 2989 versions are priced at INR 6,999 each, in White Very Peri and White Machu Picchu. The HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 4388 model costs INR 7,999 and comes in White Surf Blue. Upcoming models include the HP DeskJet Ultra Ink Advantage 5135 in White Warm Aroma and 5185 in White Pimento, as well as the HP DeskJet 2931 in White Very Peri, which will be available soon. Customers can purchase these products in HP World locations and the HP Online store, and they are also encouraged to visit the HP PLC website or the HP app for a selection of educational worksheets.

Features

The new DeskJet All-in-One (AiO) series is designed to fulfil a wide range of home printing demands effectively and reliably, from basic printing and scanning to high-volume workloads, with added convenience features like automatic document feeding. These printers come with dual-band Wi-Fi technology that features self-healing capabilities to ensure continuous printing. Users can print, scan, and copy documents from anywhere in the home, thanks to easy connectivity options and user-friendly interfaces with intuitive buttons for seamless operation.

In terms of performance, models like the HP DeskJet 2931 and the HP DeskJet IA 2986/2989 can print up to 7.5 pages per minute (ppm) for black and 5.5 ppm for colour. The DeskJet 4388 model has an increased black print speed of 8.5 ppm and includes a 60-sheet input tray as well as an automatic document feeder for manual page handling. This series emphasises productivity by enabling multi-device printing via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, which is accessed via the HP app, hence improving overall user experience.

Furthermore, the DeskJet series is built for sustainability, having at least 70% post-consumer recycled plastic content.
