Intex Aqua Power II with 4,000 mAh battery launched at Rs 6,490

The domestic smartphone manufacturer Intex has expanded its product portfolio with the launch of Aqua Power II. The smartphone is a battery beast and packs in a 4,000 mAh battery to deliver a good battery backup to the users. The device is listed on the company website with a price tag of Rs 6,490 and is expected to soon go on sale.

On the specification front, the Intex Aqua Power II runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system and offers dual SIM capability. The device is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Spreadtrum (SC7731) processor clubbed with 1GB of RAM. The on board storage of the handset accounts to 8GB which can be expanded up to 32GB using a micro SD card.

The smartphone consists of a 5-inch HD display with 720×1280 pixel resolution. The device sports a 5.0-megapixel primary camera and a 2.0-megapixel secondary camera for selfie lovers. The connectivity attributes of the mobile phone include 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS.

This new smartphone from Intex is said to compete against the recently launched Canvas Juice 3 and Juice 3+ smartphones from the house of Micromax.
