Infinix Note Edge 5G with 6,500mAh battery launched in India

The introduction in India came a month after its global debut.

The Infinix Note Edge 5G has been launched in India as the company’s first smartphone to run Android 16-based XOS 16. This mid-range device has a 1.5K 120 Hz curved AMOLED display and is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 CPU. It comes with a large 6,500mAh battery that enables 45W fast charging and 10W reverse wired charging.

The Infinix NOTE Edge will be available in three memory configurations: 6GB RAM with 128GB storage, Rs 21,999; 8GB RAM with 128GB storage, Rs 23,999; and 8GB RAM with 256GB storage, Rs 25,999. The smartphone will be available in three colours: Lunar Titanium, Stellar Blue, and Silk Green.

Bank offers include instant discounts of up to Rs 2,000 for SBI and ICICI cardholders, with No-Cost EMI starting at Rs 1,999. Special launch offerings include a one-time screen replacement within six months and a one-year extended warranty for eligible devices activated by March 25, 2026. Jio Unlimited 5G plan recharges of Rs 349 or higher qualify for a FREE 18-month Google Gemini Pro Subscription, which offers advanced AI access, 2TB cloud storage, and productivity tools.

Infinix Note Edge 5G with 6,500mAh battery launched in India

The Infinix Note Edge 5G features a 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPS 3D curved AMOLED display with a resolution of 1,208×2,644 pixels. The gadget has a refresh rate of 120 Hz, which ensures smooth visual transitions, as well as a touch sampling rate of 240 Hz for increased responsiveness. Furthermore, the screen has a peak brightness of up to 4,500 nits, making it easily viewable even in direct sunlight. Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protects the display, making it scratch and impact-resistant. The Infinix Note Edge 5G has an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance.

The Note Edge 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 chipset, which allows for high-performance capabilities. This chipset is accompanied by a Mali-G610 GPU, which enhances graphics processing for a better user experience. The device may be upgraded with up to 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM, which improves multitasking and performance. Furthermore, it offers plenty of storage options, with up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 onboard storage to meet customers’ needs for apps, media, and other files. The Infinix Note Edge 5G runs Android 16 and XOS 16, which ensures a current and user-friendly interface. Furthermore, the corporation has promised to provide three years of operating system upgrades and five years of security patches.

The Infinix Note Edge 5G comes with a powerful dual rear camera system that includes a primary 50-megapixel camera with an f/1.8 aperture for improved low-light performance and dual flash capability. The handset also includes a 13-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.

It comes with a 6,500mAh battery that enables 45W wired fast charging and 10W reverse wired charging.

In terms of connectivity, the smartphone supports dual SIM (Nano+Nano) technology, allowing users to take advantage of both 5.5G and 5G networks for better internet speeds. The Infinix Note Edge 5G also has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, and NFC for smooth communication and location services. It offers FM radio for media consumption, and the addition of a USB Type-C port provides varied connectivity options, as does OTG support for direct data transfer to compatible devices.
