iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro price in India reduced, iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max discontinued

The iPhone 16 Series was launched in India last year at a starting price of Rs 79,900.

Apple has officially unveiled the iPhone 17 series in India, but it has also resulted in significant price reductions for the previous generation iPhones. The company has decreased the price of the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus in the nation, making it an excellent deal. Along with lowering the prices of all older-generation iPhones, the firm has discontinued the iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max. Most e-commerce portals now show that the Pro models are sold out. The devices have also been unlisted from the Apple India website.

In India, the iPhone 16 has been cut to Rs 69,900 for the 128GB internal storage variation, with the 256GB storage model and both phones’ 512GB storage options discontinued.

Similarly, the iPhone 16 Plus’s pricing in India has been brought down to Rs 79,900 for the base 128GB storage model and Rs 89,900 for the 256GB storage variant.

Note that the prices of both models have been decreased by Rs 10,000, making them more affordable.

On the other hand, the Apple iPhone 16 Pro Max is currently available in India on Amazon for Rs 1,30,900, a reduction from its initial price of Rs 1,44,900.

Meanwhile, the iPhone 15 is now available for Rs 59,900, down from its previous price of Rs 69,999.

iPhone 17 Series price in India

Apple introduced the iPhone 17, iPhone Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max at the ‘Awe Dropping’ event.

In India, the firm has introduced the standard varaint in two variants with a price starting at Rs 82,900 for the 256GB storage option. The 512GB storage option will be available at Rs 1,02,900. It will come in lavender, mist blue, black, white, or sage colour.

The price of the iPhone Air in India will start at Rs 1,19,900 for the 256GB storage. The price of the 512GB and 1TB storage models will set you back at Rs 1,39,900 and Rs 1,59,900, respectively. The new Air model will be available in black, white, beige and light blue colour options.

The iPhone 17 Pro comes in three variants: 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB, priced at Rs 1,34,900, Rs 1,54,900, and Rs 1,74,900, respectively.

On the other hand, iPhone 17 Pro Max has been introduced in four storage options with prices starting at Rs 1,49,900 for the 256GB storage. The 512GB, 1TB and 2TB storage options will be available at Rs 1,69,900, Rs 1,89,900 and Rs 2,29,900, respectively.

The devices will be available in silver, cosmic orange and deep blue colours.
