Apple has unveiled the much anticipated AI-powered iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus. Both devices come with Apple Intelligence support and are powered by an A18 processor. The new iPhone operates on iOS 18 out of the box. Besides this the handset camera setup remains unchanged, it is similar to the previous generation. However, it now supports macro photography. The price of the iPhone 16 starts at $799 translating to Rs 67,100. The 16 Plus on the other hand will be available with a starting price of $899 which converts to Rs 75,500. Both the phones will come in five colour options: Black, pink, Teal, Ultramarine, and White. They are scheduled to open up for pre-orders starting September 13 with sales beginning on September 20.

Apple has released the iPhone 16 and Plus, both with a Super Retina XDR OLED display with a screen size of 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch, respectively with up to 2,000 nits of peak brightness. Both of the displays feature a Dynamic Island and have improved Ceramic Shield protection. Both models have an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. In addition to this, they now welcome a new Camera control button on the right side for easy zooming, clicking pictures, and video recording.
