iPhone 16 Series Price in India Revealed: Details Inside

iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max have officially made their debut in the global market. Apple has announced details regarding the iPhone 16 series price in India and availability in the country. Check out the details below.

In India, the starting price of the iPhone 16 with 128GB of storage is Rs 79,900. Upgrading to the 256GB and 512GB storage models would run you Rs 89,900 and 1,09,900, respectively.

On the other hand, the price of the iPhone 16 Plus will start at Rs 89,900 for the 128GB device and Rs 99,900 for the 256GB model. For Rs 1,19,900, customers may also get the phone with 512GB of storage.

Both the models come in Black, Pink, Teal, Ultramarine, and White colour options.

The starting price of the iPhone 16 Pro in India is Rs 1,19,900 for the 128GB model. Upgrading to a 256GB, 512GB or 1TB model would set you back Rs 1,29,990, Rs 1,49,900, and Rs 1,69,900, respectively.

The base edition of the iPhone 16 Pro Max costs Rs 1,44,900 for the 256GB storage. But there is also a 512GB model available for Rs 1,64,900. At Rs 1,84,900, the most expensive iPhone 16 Pro Max model comes with 1TB of storage.

The Pro models will be available in Black Titanium, Desert Titanium, Natural Titanium, and White Titanium colourways.

Preorders for the Series will open on September 13. Starting on September 20, these phones will be sold through the Apple India website and other online retailers in the country.

Apple has released the iPhone 16 and Plus, featuring a Super Retina XDR OLED display with a 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch screen, and up to 2,000 nits of peak brightness. These models have improved Ceramic Shield protection and an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. Additionally, they feature a new Camera control button and an Action button from the iPhone 15 Pro series.

The iPhone 16 and 16 Plus are OS 18-powered devices with a 3nm octa-core A18 chipset, Apple Intelligence support, and up to 512GB built-in storage, offering exceptional performance.

The standard models feature dual rear cameras with a redesigned setup, including a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 48-megapixel wide-angle camera. The ultrawide camera can take macro photos, while a 12-megapixel TrueDepth camera is available for selfies and video calls.

The iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max feature Super Retina XDR OLED displays with Ceramic Shield protection, 120Hz refresh rate, and 2,000 nits brightness. They have an IP68 rating, IP68 resistance to dust and water, improved mechanical architecture, heat dissipation, and optimized battery life. The iPhone 16 series also includes a touch-sensitive Camera Control button for easier camera launches, replacing the previous mute switch.

The iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max, powered by a 3nm A18 Pro CPU, come with up to 1TB of storage and iOS 18. When iOS 18.1 is released, they will support all Apple Intelligence functions. Apple Intelligence uses Apple silicon and generative models to understand language, create images, and take actions across apps. It uses Private Cloud Compute to maintain user data privacy and security. Apple Intelligence will be available as a free software update, with the first features rolling out next month in U.S. English for most regions worldwide.

The Pro models feature a triple rear camera setup, including a 48-megapixel wide primary camera, an upgraded 48-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, a 12-megapixel telephoto camera, and a 12-megapixel TrueDepth camera for video calls and selfies.
