iQOO 15 confirmed to come with Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC in India

The company has revealed the camera and charging details of the phone.

iQOO 15 India launch is set to take place on November 26. Ahead of the launch, the company has revealed the key specifications of the upcoming phone. Along with providing the chipset specifics, Vivo’s sub-brand revealed information about the camera and charging. Recently, the colour options for the smartphone were disclosed. A special web page for the phone on Amazon was just updated to display the smartphone in black and white, as well as confirm its availability in India through the e-commerce platform.

According to the company, the upcoming iQOO smartphone would be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 CPU and run OriginOS 6, which is based on Android 16. The gadget has already scored an amazing AnTuTu benchmark score of over 4 million, demonstrating its excellent performance potential.

Notably, the iQOO 15 will use the Samsung 2K M14 LEAD OLED Display, which is marketed as the brightest display in the Android ecosystem. The smartphone will be offered in two different shades: the Alpha Edition in a sleek matte black and the Legend Edition in a traditional white finish with a tri-colour pattern logo.

The iQOO 15 smartphone features an advanced triple camera system that includes a 50MP Sony IMX921 VCS primary sensor, a 50MP Sony IMX882 periscope telephoto lens, and an ultra-wide-angle camera, as well as a 32MP front camera for high-quality selfies. Notably, it has India’s biggest 8K VC Cooling System, which manages heat effectively during heavy use. The gadget is powered by a 7000mAh battery that enables amazing fast charging features such as 100W FlashCharge and 40W wireless charging. In terms of gaming, the iQOO 15 features ray tracing technology, which dramatically improves the realism of gaming experiences.

The iQOO 15 sports a 6.85-inch Samsung M14 AMOLED LTPO display offering 2K resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. The panel supports 2,600 nits peak brightness, 2160Hz PWM and DC Dimming. Also, there is HDR10+ and Dolby Vision support. It is powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 paired with a Q3 gaming chip. It comes with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.1 storage. The device runs on Android 16-based OriginOS 6.0 out of the box. It features a 14,000mm² vapor chamber.

For the photos and videos, the device has a triple rear camera setup that includes a 50-megapixel Sony IMX921 primary 1/1.56-inch sensor with OIS support. Furthermore, there is a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom capability and OIS. Next, there is a 50-megapixel ultrawide-angle lens helpful in taking group pictures. Lastly, up front, there is a 32-megapixel selfie camera.

The iQoo gaming phone packs a 7,000mAh battery with 100W wired charging and 40W wireless charging support.
