Vivo’s sub-brand iQOO is all set to launch a new phone in the Indian market today. The iQOO 15R will be making its debut, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 CPU. It will boast a 1.5K AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 144 Hz, enhancing the viewing experience. The smartphone will come equipped with a dual rear camera setup and a 7,600mAh battery that supports 100W charging.

You can buy the gadget on Amazon and at the iQOO India Shop. It will come in two colours: Triumph Silver and Dark Knight.
The iQOO 15R smartphone is slated to arrive with a retail price below Rs 55,000.
The forthcoming phone will have a 1.5K AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 144 Hz, providing flawless visual performance. Notably, the gadget will feature HDR10+ to improve the viewing experience while also offering remarkable peak brightness levels of up to 5,000 nits. It also features eye care technologies designed to reduce eye strain.
The iQOO 15R will also include a 7600mAh battery with 100W FlashCharge, making it India’s thinnest smartphone in its battery category. It combines flagship performance, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, with an AnTuTu score of over 3.5 million. Furthermore, the Supercomputing Chip Q2 enables up to 144 FPS gameplay while improving stability and power efficiency.
On the software front, the iQOO 15R will run Android 16 with OriginOS 6. The manufacturer promises four years of Android updates, guaranteeing that consumers get the latest features and enhancements over time. Furthermore, the gadget will receive six years of security upgrades, ensuring its safety and protection against vulnerabilities during its existence.

The iQOO 15R is said to have a dual back camera arrangement, with the main camera being a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-700V with optical image stabilisation. Additionally, there are signs that the gadget may contain an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, which would improve its photography abilities.
The gadget will include many AI-powered tools: AI Erase for removing undesired objects, AI Reflection Erase for eliminating glare, AI Magic Move for repositioning elements, AI Image Expander for extending backdrops and AI images Cutout for removing subjects. Cut out for removing subjects.
