iQoo Z9 Lite 5G India launch date announced, expected to be rebranded Vivo T3 Lite 5G

The smartphone is expected to have identical specs to the Vivo T3 Lite 5G.

The iQoo Z9 Lite 5G, a rebranded Vivo T3 Lite 5G, is scheduled to be released in India, joining the existing iQoo Z9 5G editions. The company has officially revealed the next smartphone’s launch date in India. It is rumoured to include a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC, an IP64-rated design, and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera.

The iQoo Z9 Lite 5G is all set to launch in India on July 15. The device will join the iQoo Z9 5G and the iQoo Z9x 5G, which were released in India in March and May this year, respectively.

Along with announcing the India launch date the firm has also revealed the design of the smartphone through a teaser. The poster shows off the rear panel design of the handset.

The iQoo Z9 Lite 5G features a back panel with a marble-like finish, similar to the Vivo T3 Lite 5G. In addition to this, a rectangular camera module with two camera sensors and an LED flash can be seen on the top left corner of the smartphone.

As mentioned earlier, the iQoo Z9 Lite, rumoured to be a rebranded version of the Vivo T3 Lite 5G which debuted in the country on June 27. If the reports are accurate, the Vivo T3 Lite 5G and the iQoo Z9 Lite will have comparable specs.

Vivo T3 Lite 5G specifications

The 6.56-inch HD+ LCD screen on the Vivo T3 Lite 5G has a resolution of 1,612 x 720 pixels. The display is 840 nits bright and refreshes at a rate of 90 Hz. A MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC with eight cores, clocked at 6nm, and up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage sit behind the hood. It is possible to add 6GB of virtual RAM to the system.  Funtouch OS 14, which is based on Android 14, comes pre-installed on the phone. It features a fingerprint sensor installed on the side for security.

The Vivo T3 Lite 5G has two rear cameras: a 2-megapixel depth sensor and a 50-megapixel main sensor supported by AI alongside a 2 MP depth sensor for taking pictures and recording videos. It has an 8-megapixel front camera set inside a water drop notch in the middle. With a 5,000mAh capacity, the battery of the Vivo T3 Lite 5G is intended to last for four years.
