Vivo’s sub-brand iQOO is all set to launch its latest smartphone Z9 Lite 5G in India today. It is believed that the low-cost 5G smartphone is a rebranded Vivo T3 Lite 5G. The gadget will be added to the nation’s current lineup of iQOO Z9 5G series models, which includes the iQOO Z9 5G and the iQOO Z9x 5G, which were introduced in March and May of this year, respectively. A MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC will power it. There won’t be an IP rating on the phone. It is going to be the company’s first smartphone to go on sale for less than Rs 10,000.

The iQOO Z9 Lite 5G India launch is going to take place today. The device will be launched at noon via Amazon. Ahead of the launch, the company has also listed the upcoming smartphone on the e-commerce platform revealing the key details of the brand itself, except for the pricing.

Rebranded from the Vivo T3 Lite, which was released in India last month, it is anticipated to cost less than Rs 13,000 in pricing. The Vivo T3 Lite base model, which comes with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage, costs Rs 10,499, while the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage model costs Rs 11,499 in India.

These figures suggest that the iQOO Z9 Lite base model may likewise run you about Rs 10,000.

As per Amazon’s listing, The iQOO Z9 Lite will be made available in two colour options: blue and mocha brown. It has a dual-camera configuration and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The 6.56-inch display offers a 90Hz refresh rate and 840 nits of peak brightness, making it ideal for outdoor viewing.

The listing suggests that the upcoming device will be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimesity 6300 chipset with 6GB RAM, and 128 storage and is likely to be available in several versions. It will run on Android 14 and will include two years of Android updates and three years of security patches.

The iQOO Z9 Lite smartphone, like its sister, has a 5000-mAh battery that can power 9 hours of gaming and 23 hours of continuous binge-watching. It has a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel Bokeh camera, both driven by AI and is a collaboration with Sony.
