The Chinese smartphone firm Itel is going to soon launch a new budget smartphone in India. Reportedly the company is expected to introduce Itel 70. Leaks and reports regarding the smartphone’s specs, pricing and design have already surfaced on the web even before any official announcement. The smartphone is likely to come in two variants priced under 8K. Leaks also suggest that the upcoming phone will be available in four colourways. It is expected to have a big camera notch on the display. The handset will succeed Itel 60.

According to the report Itel 70 is expected to come in either 128GB or 256GB storage option with 12GB of RAM. The 256GB storage option is said to be priced under Rs 8,000. The report further suggests that the upcoming phone will also get the feature to virtually expand the RAM by 4GB using unused internal storage.
The report has further revealed a few renders of Itel 70 suggesting both 128GB and 25GB storage options. The smartphone’s display has noticeable bezels on the sides as well as on the chin area. Also, there is a big notch that plays house to a selfie camera and an LED flash. The SIM tray can be seen positioned at the left side of the frame which indicates that the volume rocker and power button are placed on either side.

Moreover, the phone is being showcased in four colour choices- green, light blue, blue, and yellow.
Note that Itel 70 will be a successor to Itel 60 which was launched earlier this year. The phone runs on Android 11 Go Edition. It features a 6.60-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 1612 x 720 pixels. The screen has a pixel density of 267 ppi and an aspect ratio of 20:9.
Itel 60 also includes a dual rear camera setup consisting of an 8-megapixel sensor and a VGA camera. There is a 5-megapixel front-facing camera given for selfies and video calling. The handset is backed by a 5,000mAh battery.
