KRAFTON India Esports Roadmap for H1 2025 unveiled: Here are the details.

The company announced the launch of its "Rising Star" program for emerging talent and committed a Rs 4 crore prize pool.

KRAFTON India announced a ‘Rising Star’ program for emerging players and committed a Rs 4 crore prize pool in its esports strategy for H1 2025. BGIS 2025 registration opens on January 3rd, and in April, the LAN finals will take place in Kolkata.

KRAFTON India has released its esports roadmap for the first half of 2025, promising an exciting year for both fans and players. The company intends to broaden chances for rising talent through high-stakes tournaments and community initiatives.

Alongside our flagship events, we are strengthening community engagement through initiatives like the Esports College Campus Tour, which will expand to even more colleges across the country. Our Rising Star program represents a pivotal step in spotlighting upcoming Esports talent in the country and providing them the necessary tools to make a mark in the industry. By empowering and nurturing the next generation of players and creators, we are laying the foundation for a dynamic and sustainable ecosystem that will drive the industry forward for years to come.”

On January 3rd, 2025, the renowned Esports tournament known as the BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA SERIES (BGIS) 2025 will begin. With a prize pool of INR 2 crores. According to the company, the competition will provide aspiring players with an opportunity to make a mark in the Esports ecosystem.

The known BGIS LAN Finals will take place in Kolkata, India, in April. Top professional teams will compete for a prize pool of Rs 2 crores in the BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA PRO SERIES (BMPS) 2025, an invite-only competition that KRAFTON will organise after BGIS.

Additionally, KRAFTON has unveiled Rising Star, a program that aims to provide support to emerging content creators and Esports players. More information will be released soon, but the program will offer mentorship to enhance personal branding, social media content strategy, and live streaming.

More colleges around the country will be included in KRAFTON’s Esports College Campus Tour in 2025. Students from prestigious universities, including IIT Delhi, IIT Kanpur, the Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology, and K.J. Somaiya College of Engineering, have already participated in the tour, which has a prize fund of more than INR 2 crore.

Players and tournament organisers can sign up for upcoming KRAFTON Esports events on the newly redesigned KRAFTON India Esports website as of January 3.
