Lava Agni 4 India launch teased, to feature a metal body

The upcoming phone will come with a pill shaped camera setup.

Lava plans to introduce the Agni 4 in India soon. This upcoming smartphone will be a follow-up to the Agni 3, which launched in October 2024. Teasers for the phone reveal an update in look, with a metal body and metallic-finished buttons, a break from prior generations’ aesthetics. The new product is expected to cost approximately Rs 25,000. The gadget is rumoured to include a unique horizontal pill-shaped back camera module and be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 SoC.

Lava International has announced the introduction of its new smartphone, the Lava Agni 4, which will be available in India this November. Recent promo posts on x.com stress the phone’s structure, implying that it would be made of metal rather than plastic, indicating a more premium and robust design than previous versions. This change to a metal body represents a significant improvement in the device’s looks and tactile quality, boosting the whole user experience as the firm strives to entice customers by focusing on higher-end materials.

More details regarding the forthcoming phone have yet to be disclosed, although it is rumoured to contain a 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 8350 processor, as well as UFS 4.0 internal storage for efficient data management and speed. It is anticipated to include a 6.78-inch Full-HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, ensuring flawless visual performance. It may include a dual 50-megapixel camera arrangement on the back, which would improve customers’ photographic skills. Furthermore, it is speculated to have a large battery capacity of over 7,000mAh, allowing for continuous use without the need for regular charging.

As far as pricing is concerned, the smartphone is anticipated to be priced at approximately Rs 25,000 in India.
