Lava Agni 4 launching in India today: How to watch the event live

Ahead of the launch, the company has revealed key specs of the upcoming phone.

Lava Mobiles is all set to launch its flagship smartphone, the Lava Agni 4, in India today. The device will succeed the Agni 3, which launched in October 2024. The upcoming phone is going to feature a metal body and metallic-finished buttons. Price and specs details are yet to be revealed; the handset could come equipped with a 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 8350 processor. It may also feature a 120 Hz refresh rate display and house a 7,000 mAh battery.

According to reports and speculations, the upcoming Lava phone is likely to be priced under Rs 30,000 in India.

The smartphone will have a horizontally orientated pill-shaped camera island with a metallic finish, indicating a unified design language that prioritises durability and elegance. The phone is reported to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 5G chipset, which has an AnTuTu score of over 1.4 million. It will have a 6.67-inch 1.5K+ AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 2400 nits, ensuring exceptional visibility in bright conditions. The camera arrangement consists of a 50MP OIS primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP AI selfie camera, all of which can shoot 4K@60fps videos, making it perfect for content makers.

Agni 4 will have Vayu AI, an intelligent companion built specifically for Indian users, with a variety of AI agents for learning, creativity, emotional support, and productivity. Among the features are maths and English tutorials, horoscope guidance, AI photo editing, call summaries, and document analysis. The smartphone is powered by a 5000mAh battery that can last up to 14 hours with 66W rapid charging, and its sturdy design incorporates a Super Anti-Drop Diamond Frame and an IP64 classification for durability in Indian conditions.
