Lava Play Ultra 5G powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC launched in India

Lava Play Ultra 5G launched in India featuring a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC and a 6.67-inch AMOLED display. The dual rear camera setup includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor and 13-megapixel selfie camera. It packs a 5,000mAh battery with 33W charging support. It runs on Android 15 out of the box.

Lava Play Ultra 5G Price in India, Availability

Lava Play Ultra 5G has launched in India at a starting price of Rs 14,999 for the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage option. The price of the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage model is set at Rs 16,499. The device will come in two colour options. The device is scheduled to go on sale via Amazon starting August 25.

Lava Play Ultra 5G Specifications

Lava Play Ultra 5G has a 6.67-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The screen fully covers the DCI-P3 colour gamut and has a maximum brightness of 1,000 nits. The phone comes preloaded with Android 15 and is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC, which has up to 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB UFS 3.1 storage. The company says it would deliver two generations of Android upgrades and three years of security fixes.

The Play Ultra 5G features a dual back camera set with a 64-megapixel primary camera, a 5-megapixel macro camera, and a 13-megapixel selfie camera. It has several photography modes, including Night Mode, HDR, Portrait, Beauty, Panorama, Slow Motion, Time Lapse, Filters, Pro Mode, AR Sticker, and Macro photography.

The Lava Play Ultra is dust and splash resistant up to IP64 standards. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.2, OTG, Wi-Fi 6, and a charging USB Type-C connection.

The smartphone includes a 5,000mAh battery that enables 33W rapid charging. It is touted to deliver 45 hours of talk time and 510 hours of standby time on a single charge, with the gadget charging completely in 83 minutes.
