Lava Storm Play 5G and Storm Lite 5G with 120Hz HD display launched in India

Both smartphones are priced under 10K.

The Lava Storm Play 5G and Storm Lite 5G, both introduced in India, use a MediaTek Dimensity 7060 SoC processor and 6.75-inch 120Hz HD+ screens. Both are priced under Rs 10,000 and will be available for purchase through Amazon. Both of them include 50MP main back cameras and 5,000mAh batteries.

Lava Storm Play series price in India and sale details

The Lava Storm Play 5G in India is priced at Rs 9,999 for a 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. Whereas, the Lava Storm Lite 5G comes with a price tag of Rs 7,999 for a 4GB RAM with a 64GB storage option. Both phones will be available for purchase on Amazon starting June 19, 12 pm IST, and June 24 onwards, respectively. Free Service@Home will be available pan-India for all Storm series users, ensuring effortless post-sales support even in remote locations.

Lava Storm Play series Specifications

Both Lava Storm Play 5G and Lava Storm Lite 5G feature a 6.75-inch HD+ display. The screen comes with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The device is equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 7060 SoC, 6GB LPDDR5 RAM, and 128GB UFS 3.1 onboard storage, running on Android 15 out of the box. On the other hand, Lava Storm Lite packs a MediaTek Dimensity 6400 chipset, 4GB RAM, and up to 128GB internal storage. Both Storm Play and Storm Lite will receive 1 Android upgrade and 2 years of security updates.

The Lava Storm Play 5G and Lite variant features a 50-megapixel Sony IMX752 rear sensor, a 2-megapixel secondary sensor, and an 8-megapixel front sensor for selfies and video calls. The Lava Storm Lite 5G includes a 5-megapixel selfie camera.

It has a single speaker unit, a 5,000mAh battery, 18W wired charging, an IP64 rating, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. It also has a single speaker unit.

The Lava Storm Lite 5G is also stuffed with a 5,000mAh battery but supports 15W wired charging.
