Lenovo has released the IdeaPad Slim 5 as the first laptop to use the AMD Ryzen AI 300 Series ‘Krackan Point’ processor. These next-generation laptops have AI-powered performance, improved multitasking, and smarter computing, making them ideal for professionals, creators, and students who require sleek, lightweight, high-performance devices for daily activities. The laptops boast bright OLED displays and all-day battery life in a compact, lightweight design.
The IdeaPad Slim 5 (16-inch, Gen 10) and (14-inch, Gen 10) models include 2.8K OLED displays with 100% DCI-P3 colour accuracy and up to 500 nits brightness, as well as a WUXGA OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, making them perfect for creative work and entertainment. The laptops also include enterprise-grade security features such as Windows Hello Smart Login with an FHD IR Camera.
The IdeaPad Slim 5 is a lightweight notebook with military-grade ruggedness that comes in Luna Grey and Cosmic Blue colours.

The IdeaPad Slim 5 is powered by AMD Ryzen AI 7 350 processors that use the latest “Krackan Point” technology. It provides higher processing performance, efficient power consumption, and intelligent workload management. The Ryzen AI 300 Series CPUs, with Zen 5 cores, AMD RDNA 3.5 graphics, and an improved XDNA 2 NPU, provide up to 55 TOPS of AI processing power.
Additionally, Lenovo AI Now is an AI assistant that improves the user experience by delivering personalised, productive, and safe digital interactions. It employs Meta’s Llama 3 Local Language Model, allowing users to hold Q&A sessions based on their particular knowledge base, hence optimising workflows and providing tailored solutions for work and daily tasks.
The IdeaPad Slim 5 also comes with Lenovo Learning Zone, an AI-powered tool that improves the educational experience by recording lecture details, summarising documents, and producing quizzes. This integration enhances study material organisation, productivity, and personalised learning, making it an invaluable resource for students.
It has Rapid Charge Boost technology for faster battery life and a 60Wh battery for all-day power.

Lenovo’s Custom to Order (CTO) option enables consumers to tailor specifications such as CPU, operating system, and storage to their exact requirements. The Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5 can be customised through CTO and delivered within 25 days of purchasing from Lenovo.com. The gadget also has Lenovo Premium Care, an advanced support program that offers personalised hardware and software assistance from expert technicians.
