The latest processor comes with flagship-grade features however it is positioned below the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset which was introduced in October of last year. The 8s Gen 3 4nm chipset is a more cost-effective variant. As we said it comes with flagship-grade features the SoC supports high-speed generative AI models with up to 10 billion parameters. According to Qualcomm, smartphones from brands like Redmi, Xiaomi, iQoo, Motorola and Honor are some of the smartphone brands that have confirmed to bring phones with the new SoC soon. Additionally, Qualcomm disclosed that the first smartphone to run the newest processor will be accessible later this month.

Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro
Xiaomi has officially confirmed that the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset from Qualcomm will power the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro when it launches globally. Xiaomi has not released any more information regarding the device but it is likely to run on HyperOS out of the box. As mentioned globally the smartphone is expected to land in India as well and this was confirmed by a recent BIS listing. The phone appeared on the certification website bearing the model number 24053PY09I. It is anticipated that this phone will go on sale in China as the Xiaomi Civi 4 and in India as the Xiaomi 14 Lite.
Moto X50 Ultra/Motorola Edge 50 Pro
Motorola has revealed that its upcoming Moto X50 Ultra will come equipped with the latest Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC. The Lenovo-owned smartphone brand has teased its upcoming smartphones as AI Mobile Phone. Note that the device is rumoured to launch as the Motorola Edge 50 Pro outside of China such as in India. The company recently teased the alleged Motorola smartphone in the country. On the other hand, it can be unveiled as the Motorola Edge+ (2024) in the US.
As we said before the company has started teasing the specs of Motorola Edge 50 Pro in India, the device is confirmed to feature a curved 6.7-inch 1.5K display with 144Hz refresh rate support. It is said to include a triple rear camera set-up.

iQoo Z9 Turbo
The freshly released Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor will be Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 in the iQoo Z9 Turbo. The said device is scheduled to arrive in China in April. As per leaks, it would come with a 1.5K display. In addition to this, the handset is likely to boast a 6,000mAh battery.
Redmi Note 13 Turbo
Redmi disclosed that the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC will be included in a future mid-range smartphone. According to recent web leaks, it is anticipated to be the Redmi Note 13 Turbo. It is believed that this model will be released outside of China as the Poco F6.
