Price in India, Availability
The price of the iPhone 17 Air in India will start at Rs 1,19,900 for the 256GB storage. The price of the 512GB and 1TB storage model will set you at Rs 1,39,900 and Rs 1,59,900 respectively.
The new Air model will be available in black, white, beige and light blue colour options. The device is scheduled to go on sale starting September 19 while the pre-ordering will begin from September 12 in the country.

Starting off with the design Apple’s iPhone Air is the company’s slimmest and lightweight model yet that is all set to rival Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Edge. The new iPhone measures only 5.6mm in thickness. It has Ceramic Shield 2 on the front and back, which makes it up to four times more resistant to cracks, and is constructed of 80% recycled Titanium components, according to Apple. The thin design features an Action button for easy access to functions and Camera Control for quick camera launch or visual intelligence.
It has a 6.5-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display with 120Hz ProMotion and up to 3,000nits peak brightness. The iPhone Air features Apple’s A19 Pro processor, the fastest chip in a smartphone. The N1 chip supports Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, and Thread protocols, and the C1X modem provides greater speed and connectivity.
It boasts a single 48-megapixel rear camera, 2x telephoto shots at 12-megapixel resolution, and the same Centre Stage function as the conventional iPhone 17 model. The back camera enables the popular 28mm and 35mm focal lengths, so users have more options to frame their shot, and the large 2.0µm quad-pixel sensor with sensor-shift OlS excels in low light. For selfies it includes an 18-megapixel Centre Stage front facing camera. The Air is said to deliver an all-day battery life.
