Microsoft has announced two new Surface Copilot+ PCs, the Surface Laptop 13-inch and the Surface Pro 12-inch, both powered by Snapdragon X Plus CPUs. The 13-inch model has an AI-powered camera with auto video HDR and a dedicated Neural Processing Unit capable of doing 45 trillion operations per second. The Surface Pro 12-inch features a 2-in-1 design and can play up to 23 hours of video on a single charge. Later this month, the updated versions will begin delivering to select global markets.

The price of the Microsoft Surface Laptop 13-inch starts at $899 which translates to Rs 76,000. The Surface Pro 12-inch will be available at a starting price of $799 which converts to Rs 67,000.
The machines will be available in Ocean, Platinum, and Violet colourways. Microsoft has announced the launch of its new Surface laptops in select areas on May 20. It will be available for corporate clients in select areas on July 22nd, including Windows 11 Pro, anti-reflective displays, an NFC reader, and other security and management capabilities. Users may place pre-orders on Microsoft’s website and shops like Best Buy and Amazon US.

Microsoft Surface Laptop 13-inch, Surface Pro 12-inch Specifications, Features
The chassis of the 13-inch Microsoft Surface laptop is made of anodised aluminium. The 13-inch Surface Laptop from Microsoft is said to be the lightest and thinnest model to date, featuring a 13-inch full-HD touchscreen display, an AI-backed camera with auto video HDR, and noise reduction. It is also smaller than a typical laptop. In addition, it has a fingerprint reader, a dedicated Copilot key, a configurable precision touchpad, and a Surface Arc Mouse.
Equipped with a Snapdragon X Plus CPU with 45 TOPS NPU, the 13-inch Surface Laptop 13-inch boasts 16GB, 24GB, and 256GB of storage and is said to be 50% quicker than the Surface Laptop 5 and faster than Apple’s MacBook Air M3.
On a single charge, the laptop is said to be able to play videos for up to 23 hours and browse the web for 16 hours. It has a USB Type-C connection for quick charging up to 45W.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 12-inch is a two-in-one gadget that has a 12-inch touch screen, a detachable keyboard, and an integrated adjustable kickstand. It comes in Slate, Ocean, and Violet colours and can be charged and stored magnetically with the Surface Slim Pen. It can also be used with a 12-inch keyboard. Along with a configurable precision touchpad with adaptive touch mode, the keyboard has a full-size, illuminated keyboard with dedicated Copilot and lock buttons.
A Snapdragon X Plus CPU with 45 TOPS NPU, 16GB LPDDR5x RAM, and 256GB or 512GB of storage are all characteristics of the Microsoft Surface Pro 12-inch. It weighs 0.68 kg and has a full day of battery life. However, the package does not come with a charger from Microsoft.
