In India, Microsoft has released the Surface Pro 11 and Surface Laptop 7. The gadgets, often referred to as Copilot+ PCs, are powered by the Snapdragon X series CPU. While the vanilla model has a neural processing unit (NPU) to handle AI tasks, the Pro has a Qualcomm Hexagon NPU. The Surface Laptop features a new HDR touchscreen display, and the new Surface Pro offers an OLED version with an HDR display.
Driven by Snapdragon X Plus and Elite chipsets, the Microsoft Surface Pro 11 is a 13-inch laptop featuring an OLED and LCD screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz. More than 40 trillion operations per second (TOPS) can be executed by its Qualcomm Hexagon NPU. A Flex keyboard, haptic touchpad, kickstand, and integrated pen storage are further features of the gadget. 65W of fast charging is supported.
There are two display variations for the Surface Laptop 7, measuring 13.5 and 15 inches respectively, and using Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and IPS LCDs. It features a neural processing unit (NPU) for AI operations, Dolby Vision IQ, HDR compatibility, and a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
Windows Hello Enhanced Sign-in, Microsoft Pluton Security, and a special Copilot key are all turned on by default on Copilot+ PCs. Exclusive to Copilot+ PCs, Cocreator enables text suggestions, natural inking, and graphic creation and modification. Windows Live Captions provides instantaneous translation of recorded or live audio into English.

A few multi-brand stores, Amazon, Croma, Reliance Digital, and Vijay Sales are among the retailers selling the Copilot+ PCs. In addition to a free one-month subscription to Microsoft 365 and PC Game Pass, customers who buy a Surface Pro 11 or Laptop 7 by August 5, 2024, will also receive a Marshall Major IV Wireless Headset, priced at Rs 14,999.
