Motorola brings its first premium laptop to India: moto book 60 Pro lands with 2.8K OLED and Intel Core Ultra

A slim all-metal laptop with a 120Hz OLED display and AI PC features, starting at Rs 59,990.

The Moto Book 60 Pro is Motorola’s shot at the premium thin-and-light crowd, and it arrives with specs that should turn heads. The 14-inch 2.8K OLED panel runs at 120Hz, the chassis is all metal at 1.39 kg, and inside you can spec Intel Core Ultra 7 or Ultra 5 with up to 32GB DDR5 RAM. Sales start today, 5 September 2025, at 12 PM in India across major retail and online channels. If you were waiting for a compact OLED Windows laptop that balances style with substance, the Moto Book 60 Pro makes a strong case.

Display and design

Motorola is leaning on screen quality to stand out. The 14-inch 2.8K OLED delivers a high refresh 120Hz experience for smoother scrolling and sharper text, while the 1100 nits peak brightness helps with outdoor legibility. Colour coverage at 100 per cent DCI P3 should appeal to creators who grade photos and short-form videos. The shell is cut from metal, keeping the weight to 1.39 kg, and comes in two Pantone-inspired finishes, Bronze Green and Wedgewood, so it can look boardroom-ready without shouting for attention.

Performance, AI, and thermals

Under the hood, you get Intel’s Core Ultra 7 or Core Ultra 5 H series silicon paired with up to 32GB DDR5. The platform is designed for everyday acceleration of AI PC features, whether that is speeding up background noise reduction in calls, assisting with image tools, or improving battery efficiency during mixed workloads. Expect responsive multitasking, quick app launches, and enough headroom for heavy browser stacks, office suites, and light creative tasks like timeline edits or batch photo exports.

Ecosystem extras with Smart Connect

Motorola’s Smart Connect aims to make the laptop the control tower for your other screens. Cross Device Control lets you operate a tablet from the PC, Swipe to Stream moves apps to the bigger display in seconds, and Swipe to Share handles quick file transfers. For anyone juggling a phone, tablet, and laptop, these convenience features can quietly save minutes every day.

Durability, audio, and battery

The Moto book 60 Pro is tested to MIL STD 810H across 21 categories, which cover shocks, vibration, and temperature swings. Dolby Atmos speakers provide a wider soundstage for movies and music. Power comes from a 60Wh cell, and the 65W adapter helps you bounce back to work faster during short coffee breaks.

Price and availability in India

  • Intel Core Ultra 5, 16GB RAM, 512GB storage. Effective sale price: Rs 59,990 including offers
