Motorola Edge 50 Neo debuted in India today. The newly launched smartphone comes with MIL-STD-810 Military Grade certification and IP68 rating. In addition to this, the device is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset and runs on Android 14. The phone comes with AI features and a 50-megapixel Sony LYTIA-700C camera.

The price of the Motorola Edge 50 Neo is set at Rs 23,999 for the single 8GB RAM with 256GB storage option. According to the company it will be offered at an effective price of just Rs 22,999 The device will be available in four Pantone-curated colours—Nautical Blue, Poinciana, Latté, and Grisaille.

The handset will go on sale via Flipkart, Motorola.in and leading retail stores across India, starting September 24. Additionally, the product will also be exclusively available on sale, during Motorola’s live commerce event on Flipkart on September 16, during 7-8 pm only.

Motorola Edge 50 Neo Specifications

The Motorola Edge 50 Neo is driven by MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC, paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The RAM Boost 3.0 feature offers 8GB of physical RAM plus an additional 8GB of virtual RAM. It runs on the latest Android 14 and comes with a promise of 5 OS upgrades and 5 years of Security Maintenance Releases (SMR).

The Motorola Edge 50 Neo features a 6.4-inch 10-bit flat LTPO pOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and HDR10+ support. This display offers the highest in segment 460 PPI and a 3000 nits peak brightness. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen can dynamically adjust the refresh rate from 10Hz to 120Hz. It supports 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut, DC Dimming and 300Hz touch sampling rate. Moreover, the SGS Eye Protection technology lessens blue light emissions.

In terms of photography, the handset comes with a triple rear camera setup that includes a 50-megapixel Sony LYTIA-700C sensor with OIS, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide sensor with 120 degrees of FoV, and a 10-megapixel telephoto lens with 30X AI Super zoom and 3X optical zoom. For selfies and video calling, there is a 32-megapixel front-facing camera. It also includes Google Photos AI features such as Auto Enhance, Tilt-shift Mode, Auto Smile Capture, Auto Night Vision, and Advanced Long Exposure Mode.

Lastly, the phone is equipped with a 4,310mAh battery with support for 68W TurboPower and 15W wireless charging support.
