Motorola Edge 50 Pro India launch today: Here is how to watch the event live

Motorola Edge 50 Pro is all set to launch in India today. The smartphone is the company’s first AI Phone that will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor. In addition to this, the device will include an AI-backed camera setup. The phone will come with IP68 water and dust resistance. It confirmed that as soon as the smartphone launches it will be made available for purchase via Flipkart.

Lenovo-owned smartphone brand Motorola is going to host a global launch event for its next smartphone Edge 50 Pro in India. Motorola Edge 50 Pro price in India, availability expected

Ahead of the official India launch the Edge 50 Pro was spotted listed on an Italian site by a tipster which suggested that that device will come with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage and will cost EUR 864, or around Rs 77,000. Earlier, the tipster stated that the identical RAM and storage model would cost Rs 44,999 for the Indian version.

The Moto phone has been teased for release on Flipkart, as we previously stated. Some of the features that the Edge 50 Pro would have been revealed via the Flipkart listing and the Motorola teases. The Edge 50 Pro will come in at least three colour options: black, purple, and a third with a cream and grey design.

Motorola Edge 50 Pro specifications expected

The Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC has been confirmed to power the Edge 50 Pro. The device will include a 6.67-inch 1.5K curved pOLED display with a refresh rate of 144 Hz and a maximum brightness of 2,000. The panel has been certified by SGS to have blue light protection, 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut, and HDR10+. The phone will have an in-display fingerprint sensor for authentication.

It is claimed to include a 4,500mAh battery that enables speedy charging at 125W when wired and 50W when wireless.

Furthermore, according to Motorola, the Edge 50 Pro’s display and camera have been validated by Pantone. It is confirmed to have a 10-megapixel telephoto sensor with an LED flash unit, an ultra-wide camera with a 50x hybrid zoom, and a 50-megapixel 2μm primary sensor backed by AI.
