Motorola Edge 70 with a 50-megapixel triple rear camera setup launched in India

Motorola Edge 70 has been introduced in India as the latest addition to the Edge series. This smartphone has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 CPU. The gadget also features a 50-megapixel triple back camera array housed in a square camera module. It includes a 5,000mAh silicon-carbon battery that supports both 68W wired fast charging and 15W wireless charging.

The Motorola Edge 70 is available in three Pantone colours: Pantone Bronze Green, Pantone Gadget Grey, and Pantone LilyPad. It can be purchased from various online and offline retail outlets. The device is available in a single 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant priced at Rs 29,999. The company is also offering a Rs 1,000 bank discount with the purchase of the phone.

The Edge 70 features a 6.7-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. It can reach a maximum brightness of 4,500 nits and supports sophisticated visual technologies such as Dolby Vision and HDR10+. In addition, it is covered by Gorilla Glass 7i and has MIL-STD-810H military durability certification. Furthermore, IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance certifications assure strict reliability standards for various settings.

The gadget runs Android 16 with the Hello UI and is guaranteed to receive three major Android upgrades plus four years of security patches. It comes with an upgraded suite of Moto AI features, including Next Move, Catch Me Up 2.0, Pay Attention 2.0, Remember This + Recall, and Co-pilot, all of which are intended to improve user experience and functionality. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, 8GB of LPDDR5x RAM, and 256GB of high-speed UFS 3.1 storage.

The Motorola Edge 70 comes with a sophisticated triple back camera array, including a notable 50-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS). In addition to the primary camera, the gadget also includes a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera for a larger field of view, as well as a specialised three-in-one light sensor for recording dynamic lighting. The smartphone includes a 50-megapixel selfie camera, which ensures high-resolution photos.

The smartphone’s camera can also capture videos at an astonishing 4K resolution and 60 frames per second, making it ideal for creating high-quality video content.
