Motorola will soon launch a new smartphone in India. The company has begun teasing a new smartphone that is confirmed to come with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor. Though the company has not yet officially confirmed, there are rumours that the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion or Motorola Edge 50 Pro may be unveiled at the impending event.
Motorola has set a launch event for April 3 in India. Given that the design teaser suggests edge, this may be the Edge 50 Fusion. This week’s teaser featured a blue, similarly curved screen with the company’s tagline, “Unleash the new Edge. Embrace the Extraordinary”
Following design teases, Motorola announced that the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 phone would soon be available in India. It also suggests that the phone may be able to charge wirelessly.

The design and colour options have also been revealed by leaked information. As @evleaks indicated, there may be a chance to go from the Snapdragon 888+ in the Edge 30 Fusion to the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 in the Edge 50 Fusion. The Edge 50 Fusion is expected to feature a 6.7-inch POLED screen with Gorilla Glass 5 protection and will also get IP68 certifications for dust and splash resistance. Moreover, the phone is set to come with a 50MP back camera. A 5000mAh battery with support for 68W fast charging is also expected.

As per rumours, the phone is said to come in Peacock Pink, Ballad Blue (vegan leather), and Tidal Teal colour options.

Besides this, the company is also likely to introduce another device which is Motorola Edge 50 Pro. According to leaked information, the handset is expected to come in three colour options Black, Purple, and White. The White version will have a special pattern resembling stones.
As of now, the official information is very scarce however not much time is left for Motorola’s upcoming launch event so maybe in the coming days we’ll get more specifics about the phone.
