Motorola launched Edge 70 Cloud Dancer Edition with Swarovski crystals

This launch is part of Motorola's ongoing multi-year partnership with Pantone.

Motorola has released the Edge 70 Cloud Dancer special edition, which includes Pantone’s 2026 Colour of the Year and Swarovski crystals. This launch is part of Motorola’s continuing, multi-year collaboration with Pantone. The gadget features a 6.67-inch pOLED display, a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC, and a 4,800mAh battery with 68W wired and 15W wireless charging. This edition prioritises design while retaining essential hardware from the standard model, bolstering Motorola’s collaboration with Pantone.

Motorola has introduced a special variant of the Edge 70 with Pantone’s Colour of the Year 2026, Cloud Dancer (Pantone 11-4201). Furthermore, the new handset has partnerships with Swarovski, with crystals inlaid in the phone’s rear panel, placing it in Motorola’s design-focused Brilliant Collection. It is said to be accessible in select global markets. However, price and release dates for this variation are still pending.

Specifications, Features

The Motorola Edge 70 features a 6.67-inch pOLED Super HD display with a resolution of 1,220×2,712 pixels. It has a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, a pixel density of 446ppi, and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The panel supports HDR10+ content and has an amazing touch sampling rate of up to 300Hz. It can also achieve peak brightness levels of up to 4,500 nits and is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i.

It runs Android 16 out of the box. The Edge 70 is powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 CPU, with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. It offers advanced security features, including an in-display fingerprint sensor and face recognition, which are backed up by Motorola’s ThinkShield security system. It has MIL-STD-810H durability certification and is built tough from aircraft-grade aluminium. Furthermore, the gadget has IP68 and IP69 classifications, indicating dust and water resistance for increased endurance in a variety of situations.

It has a camera system that comprises a 50-megapixel primary rear camera with an aperture of f/1.8 and optical image stabilisation (OIS), as well as a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera with an aperture of f/2.0 and an integrated 3-in-1 light sensor. The gadget has a 50-megapixel front-facing camera for taking selfies and making video calls.

The Motorola Edge offers a range of connectivity options, including 5G, Bluetooth, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, LTE, Galileo, NFC, a USB Type-C connector, and Wi-Fi 6E. The gadget has dual stereo speakers that enable Dolby Atmos for better sound quality. It also has a number of sensors, including an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, e-compass, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and SAR sensor, which help it work and provide a better user experience.

The device has a 4,800mAh Silicon-Carbon battery that supports 68W wired and 15W wireless charging.
