Motorola Razr 50 Ultra India launch today: Expected price in India and features

As per the teasers, the device will be available in Midnight Blue, Spring Green, and Peach Fuzz colourways.

The Razr 50 and Razr 50 Ultra were released by Motorola in China, North America, Europe, and the UK. The latter is set to make its way to the Indian market now. The company will be launching the flip phone in the country today. The device will be sold via Amazon. The Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip powers the foldable phone that has a flip design. It also has an IPX8 rating and a 50-megapixel primary camera.

Motorola Razr 50 Ultra will make its official debut today in India. The flip-style phone will go up against the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 6. The phone will be announced at 12 p.m. across the country through Amazon. Aside from the e-commerce site, the handset will be available for purchase on Motorola.in and at top retail outlets.

Ahead of the official release, the Lenovo-owned brand has revealed the colour options for the Razr 50 Ultra. As per the teasers, the device will be available in Midnight Blue, Spring Green, and Peach Fuzz colourways. As previously stated, the phone was introduced in China and select countries like North America, Europe, and the United Kingdom ahead of its availability in India, and it is expected to be priced similarly. In China, the Motorola Razr 50 Ultra is available at a starting price of CNY 5,699 which translates to around Rs 66,000 for the 12GB + 256GB option and 12GB + 512GB storage option is priced at CNY 6,199 which translates to Rs 74,000.

The microsite lists several AI-powered capabilities from Motorola that will be available on the upcoming flip phone. These include Adaptive Stabilisation, Action Shot, Intelligent Auto Focus Tracking, Photo Enhancement Pro, Super Zoom, Colour Optimisation, Style Sync, and AI Magic Canvas.

Motorola Razr 50 Ultra specs

The Motorola Razr 50 Ultra features a 6.9-inch full-HD+ pOLED inner display with 1,080×2,640 pixels of resolution and 413ppi pixel density. There is a 4-inch pOLED cover display with 1,080×1,272 pixels of resolution and 417ppi pixel density. Both displays support a 165Hz refresh rate. The flip phone operates on MyUX based on Android 14. Under the hood, there is a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4 storage.

The Razr 50 Ultra sports a dual rear camera setup that includes a 50-megapixel main sensor with OIS support and a 50-megapixel telephoto lens. For selfies, it has a 32-megapixel front-facing camera.

The phone comes with a 4,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging and 15W wireless charging support.
