Movavi, a global developer of easy-to-use software for video, audio, and photo editing, introduces a time-saving update to its flagship product, Movavi Video Editor: the new Copy-Paste Effects Tool. Designed to simplify video editing, the new tool lets users quickly apply the same effects across multiple video clips and audio tracks – cutting editing time by over 60%.
Movavi Video Editor users have access to thousands of effects, and often test hundreds to enhance their videos. Until now, content creators had to painstakingly adjust each clip, manually applying effects one by one.
The new tool simplifies the process to just two easy steps:
- Right-click the clip with the desired effects, hover over ‘Clip effects’, and choose ‘Copy Effects’.
- Follow the same path to ‘Paste Effects’ onto another clip.
“On average, people apply 50 effects to a single video project. It was a really time-consuming task, especially if you need to reuse filters, colour corrections, or slow-mo across an entire project. Now, in just a few clicks, you can copy and paste all those settings and reduce the time for a family video or podcast editing by over 60%. So you can focus on the part that really matters: creative ideas,” says Dmitriy Gripak, Senior Product Manager at Movavi.
All applied effects can be found under the ‘fx’ tab located on each clip. In addition to general effects, this tool works seamlessly with advanced video editing tools, such as colour correction, highlight and conceal, position, and slow motion.
Moreover, audio enhancements for music, voiceovers, or sounds can also be quickly copied and pasted. This covers audio effects, equaliser, and reverb, to name a few.
The update highlights Movavi’s priority to make a user-friendly video editor for content creators at every skill level.
