MSI Crosshair 16 HX Monster Hunter Edition and MSI Claw launched in India

The MSI Claw is the first handheld with an Intel Core Ultra processor.

In India, MSI has introduced the MSI Claw, the company’s first handheld game console, paired with the MSI Crosshair 16 HX Monster Hunter Edition. A 16-inch display and a 14th generation Intel Core i7 processor with Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 graphics power the MSI Crosshair 16 HX Monster Hunter Edition. An IPS touchscreen measuring seven inches is included on the MSI Claw. It also features an Intel Core Ultra Processor, improved GPU drivers, and a BIOS.

Pricing and availability

The MSI Crosshair 16 HX Monster Hunter Edition is priced at Rs. 1,67,990 in India, available in a single Core Black colourway. The MSI Claw on the other hand is priced at Rs 78,990 for the base model with an Intel Core Ultra 5 chipset and 512GB of storage. The Core Ultra 7 model is available in two variants with 512GB and 1TB of storage, priced at Rs. 86,990 and Rs. 89,990, respectively.

The devices can be purchased at MSI brand stores, and all leading e-commerce platforms authorised by MSI retailers.

The MSI Crosshair 16 HX Monster Hunter Edition has a 16-inch Quad-HD+ IPS display with a resolution of 2,560×1,600 pixels and a refresh rate of 240Hz. It is powered by an Intel Core i7-14700HX CPU and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 GPU with 8GB of GDDR6. It further includes up to 1TB of NVMe SSD storage and 16GB of DDR5 RAM. The machine runs on Windows 11 Home Edition.

The gaming laptop features two Nahimic-tuned 2W speakers, a microphone array, and a webcam capable of recording video at 720p/30fps. The laptop includes a 4-cell, 90Wh battery that can be charged at 240W with the provided adaptor. The connectivity choices include Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port, three USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, an HDMI 2.1 port, a Gigabit Ethernet port, and a 3.5mm jack.

The MSI Claw gaming console features a 7-inch Full-HD IPS touchscreen display with a 120Hz refresh rate, up to Intel Core Ultra 7 processors, 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM, Intel Arc graphics, and up to 1TB of NVMe SSD storage.

The MSI Claw is a handheld gaming console equipped with Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 connection, a Thunderbolt 4 port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It has RGB ABXY buttons, thumbsticks, D-pad, triggers, and bumpers. It includes a fingerprint scanner and a 6-cell 54Wh battery.

The device’s ergonomic design includes Hall Effect Sensors, which provide precise control throughout intense gaming sessions. The Claw concept incorporates the MSI dragon power, preserving the brand’s persistent unique identity. Ergonomically designed to fit the natural contours of your grasp, it provides comfort, intuitiveness, and precise control for any hand size, with well-balanced internal weights for simple lifting. Furthermore, the analogue sticks and ABXY buttons are surrounded by RGB light rings, which add to the ambience, while Hall Effect Sensors in both analogue sticks and LT/RT triggers extend the lifespan by eliminating the need for physical contact to activate.
