Netflix StreamFest begins today: Here is how you start streaming for free

This weekend anyone can watch movies, series, documentaries for free

Starting today the popular video streaming platform Netflix is hosting StreamFest. The entire weekend that is December 5 to December 6 anyone can binge-watch amazing videos and movies for free. The Netflix StreamFest has gone live only in India in which blockbuster films, the biggest series, award-winning documentaries, and entertaining reality shows for two whole days.  

The Netflix StreamFest has already begun and will end tomorrow i.e. December 6 at 11.59 PM IST. During the festival anyone can watch Indian movies and series such as Sacred Games, Ludo, Telugu hit Miss India. One can also pick international movies and series such as Extraction, Spanish cine drama- La Casa de Papel.

For the kids content such as Mighty Little Bheem, Boss Baby: Get that Baby and more to choose from. It should be noted that due to the overwhelming response you might come across the message “StreamFest is at capacity”. In this case, the company will ask you to provide them your email ID or phone number at Netflix.com/StreamFest and within a week the company will revert to let you know when you can get your two days of free Netflix.

How to start streaming Netflix?

The interested one can visit  Netflix.com/StreamFest or they can download the Android app on their devices. Simply sign up with your email or phone number, and password. This is absolutely free for all and no credit or debit card or payment needed. Just sign up and start streaming.

According to the company, anyone who signs in during StreamFest gets one stream in standard definition means no other person can see the same login information to stream. That’s because it is free, once you sign up via the Android app or a browser, you can use that login to watch Netflix on any device — smart TV, gaming console, iOS device. In addition to this if you have kids at home you can set a separate Kid’s Profile,  set Parental Controls, browse Netflix in Hindi, add series or films to My List, watch with subtitles or dubs, use Smart Downloads on mobile, and see the Top 10 list.
