New leaked iPhone 16 Pro colours reveal a darker Titanium Black finish, five colour options, and a redesigned camera bump for the iPhone 16

September or October is predicted to see the release of the iPhone 16 series.

Key Highlights

  • The iPhone 16 to come with an updated camera bump.
  • The device will be available in five colour options.
  • iPhone 16 Pro on the other hand is likely to be available in four colour options.

Although the release of Apple’s iPhone 16 series is still far off, leaks and rumours are still making the rounds. Four models—the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max—are probably part of the next lineup. A user on X has leaked dummy units of the regular iPhone 16 model, revealing five colour variations and a revised camera island with vertically orientated lenses. Three colour possibilities for the iPhone 16 Pro models have been leaked in another leak, and a fourth colour option—rose titanium—has also reportedly surfaced.

The iPhone 16, with its vertically orientated lenses and revamped camera island, has been leaked. In contrast to the pastel colours of the iPhone 15, the renders feature dummy units in black, blue, green, pink, and white hues that are more intense.

The iPhone 16’s updated camera bump will enable it to record Spatial Video—a function that is presently exclusive to the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max—for the Vision Pro headset.

The rear of the iPhone 16 is anticipated to sport a matte finish, with a purported capture button beneath the power button located on the right side.

Tech critic Sonny Dickson posted a picture of the Black Titanium, Natural Titanium, and White Titanium colour options for the iPhone 16 Pro Max model—variants that were also offered for the iPhone 15 Pro flagship.

There are rumours of a fourth colourway for the iPhone 16 Pro model, which could be a light pink Rose Titanium finish in place of the Blue Titanium option. This confirms the earlier report by supply chain expert Ming-Chi Kuo that the iPhone 16 Pro versions will come in four different titanium finishes: black, natural, rose, and white. The colour options for the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus models will be the same as those of the iPhone 15 series; the yellow model may be swapped out for a white one.

There are rumours that the iPhone 16 Pro model will have a 6.27-inch display, up from 6.1 inches, and that it will be 20% brighter, with a peak brightness of 1,200 nits. The basic iPhone 16 is expected to have a 6.1-inch OLED display and be powered by an A18 Bionic chip from TSMC’s 3nm process, whereas the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max will have an A18 Pro chip.
