London-based tech company Nothing’s first product, which was a TWS Nothing Ear 1 was a hit in India. Now the company is coming up with its second generation of Nothing Ear 2 TWS earphones in the country. The truly wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds are said to arrive later this month. Moreover, the company’s first smartphone Nothing Phone 1 is also set to see its successor later this year. The company revealed information about its upcoming phone at MWC 2023.
Nothing Ear 2 is set to release later this month according to the press release shared by the company. According to the company, the launch will take place on March 22 at 8:30 PM IST. The event will be live-streamed via the company’s official website, and YouTube channel as well as via social media platforms.
Nothing has not revealed much about its upcoming audio product, but they are said to offer better sound and clarity. The first generation of Nothing Ear 1 was launched in 2021.
Apart from this, the Nothing Phone 2 is also said to debut later this year according to a confirmation made by the company head Card Lei at MWC 2023 in Barcelona. The smartphone is confirmed to be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 processor. The hardware information was accidentally leaked via a LinkedIn post by Alex Katouzian, Qualcomm’s SVP and GM of the Mobile, Compute and XR business unit. Later on, the post was edited to erase the information.

Nothing Ear 1
In December last year, the company released the Black Edition of Nothing Ear 1. The device was however launched in the White colour variant in 2021. The device comes with a transparent case. It features an 11.6mm speaker driver and comes with two settings for ANC: Light mode and Maximum mode. The TWS earphones include three HD microphones to improve the audio quality. The Nothing Ear 1 offers 5 hours of listening time and 34 hours of additional playtime.
Moreover, the device has an IPX4 rating for sweat and dust resistance. The Nothing earphone also has Google Fast Pair support allowing compatible devices to connect instantly. There is a customised equaliser, gesture control, and Find My Earbuds functionality.
